About Upon This Rock Ministries.
Our Mission.
Our Mission is to proclaim His righteousness throughout the world and sanctify Him before the people, that all will know that He is the sovereign God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Through him, we offer deliverance “…that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10)
Non-Denominational.
Upon This Rock Ministries is founded upon the concept of serving our community in both spiritual and practical ways through worship, discipleship, and outreach programs. A non-denominational organization who seeks after the truth of God.
Five Fold Ministry.
We are believers of the Holy Spirit and the fivefold ministry: Pastors, Teachers, Evangelists, Prophets, and Apostles.
Impacting the Community.
We are adamant about community presence and throughout the year we are active and supportive of those who are in need mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. We are interested in the wellbeing of the whole man that no part of a person is left undone.
Family First.
It is important for us to not only be available through presence but as well as in teaching about Christianity according to the King James Bible. We incorporate a family aspect to our membership so that those who are a part of our congregation feel not only as a member of an organization but as a family member.
Discipleship
It is our objective to fulfill the last commandment that Jesus gave here on earth… “Great Commission,”:
“And Jesus came and spoke unto them saying, "All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you; and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen." (Matthew 28:18-20)
